How to measure the watch strap size?

Lug width is the distance between the inside of the lugs on the watch head.

Method 1

Measure your watch’s lug with a ruler or measuring tape

You can measure it with a standard ruler. To do so, remove watch strap (if attached) and place the ruler under the lugs. Remember to measure in millimeters.

Method 2

Measure your watch’s lug with a guide

Place your watch on the printed guide and find the strap size that matches its lug width. Note that the size is in millimeters. First, confirm the printed paper size to make sure the guide has been printed correctly: measure the 50 mm scale bar with a ruler or measuring tape to see if the measurement is accurate.
